Education is definitely a topic of interest to me. Both as a “learner” and as a teacher. On the one hand I’m trying to get a grasp of new topics and technologies that pop up every time in the field of data engineering. And my company wants me to become Azure Data Engineering Associate certified.
I’ve also been teaching several modules of a data engineering course. And this year I will be assisting in a SQL and Python bootcamp for MBA students of a Dutch institute.
From both sides there’s one question I’m interested in: what question do I need to ask, or what information do I need to give for me or the student to “see the light”. And usually that question is: “why are we doing all this?”
